Moving Tips
*Use Post-its to keep things organized.
*Try to use same sized boxes for easy stacking.
*Don't pack boxes too heavy or leave space that can make the box cave in if stacked.
*Label boxes on the top and side with neat & large letters.
*Have everything packed well before the moving crew gets there.
*Try to clean dust and other things off of furniture before the guys have to touch and move it.
*In Texas, flammables cannot be put in a box van; this includes but not limited to: guns, ammo, propane tanks & other items.
*We want to keep our truck and your furniture clean, we cannot haul potted (dirt) plants in our moving van.
*The moving crew can disassemble & reassemble furniture items. They cannot disconnect or reconnect pipes or cables.
*Once you book, there is a $100 rescheduling fee & $200 cancelation fee if needed.
MAKE A LIST
Making a list of what furniture will go in what rooms will come in handy on the day of your move. You can also make a list of things that will go into storage & what will go to the new house. Making a list is never a bad thing and you can keep organized with them!
SAY GOODBYE TO UNUSED STUFF
Haulright will take your belongings to Higgins Branch in Brenham upon your request. The packers will also help with this chore. Why pay to move it if you're not going to use it!
GET STURDY, UNIFORM PACKING SUPPLIES
For the best move, if you are not going to hire Haulright to pack you, please use clean, same sized boxes. Using all different shapes might seem like it's saving you money, but once the movers have to spend more time, it does not come out cheaper in the end.
PACK THE BASICS YOURSELF
If you do hire Haulright to pack, please pack yourself a suitcase or bag with very important things like prescriptions and also everyday basic things like clothes. We want to make sure your transition to your new adventure is as smooth as possible.
